Davis Towing and Recovery is a second generation family owned business with a national reputation for quality, efficiency and excellence in the towing and recovery industry.
Located in Rushville, Indiana, we provide 24 hour local towing and road services to East Central Indiana, as well as long distance services for Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, and the rest of the state in Indiana. In addition to our headquarters, we also have an additional location at I-70 and Indiana State Road 3 for truck service and repair and a Heavy Duty Towing Service in Milan, IN, which has allowed us to provide quality service for over 30 years.
With a well maintained fleet of vehicles, trailers and additional equipment, Davis Towing and Recovery has one of the most complete and versatile towing and recovery businesses in the Midwest.

While we are very involved in the communities we serve, the first time folks meet us is often not the most favorable time. We are usually called to a scene for a problem, breakdown or a wreck. Our experienced and highly trained equipment operators conduct themselves in a caring and understanding manner that sympathizes with the customer and helps put them at ease in a very stressful situation.
It is our intention that every individual we deal with be treated like family, and to care for each customer's vehicle like it is our own.
In the spring of 2011, Davis Towing & Recovery, Inc. announced its acquisition of Starweld, a well established company in the Rushville area, specializing in industrial welding and fabrication services. I expect the acquisition of Starweld will benefit the entire group and will help Davis Towing and Recovery continue its growth as a state of the art towing and recovery company along with the expansion of our truck and trailer repair facility and fabrication shop. I am also pleased to announce that Tim Starkey, former owner and manager of Starweld, will now hold the position of general manager of all of our facilities. We appreciate all of our existing customers and welcome our new Starweld customers, and ask for your continued support as we work through this transition period.
We will continue to provide 24-hour 7 days a week services as we have in the past in the area of towing and recovery. Our Spiceland Indiana facility will remain the same, but all billing will be done at our Rushville, IN location.
We feel that this acquisition is beneficial to all of our employees because it will give our ever expanding company flexibility and more work area to the individual employees.
Our offices are now at the Starweld facility, located at 709 W. 1st St, Rushville, IN. Our new mailing address will change to P.O. Box 219, Rushville, IN 46173. All existing telephone numbers for Starweld and Davis Towing will remain the same.
